How do I know if my child needs speech therapy?

Every child develops at their own pace. However, some signs such as difficulties pronouncing words, trouble understanding or following directions or difficulties communicating their needs and wants. A speech-language pathologist may conduct a screening. Based on the screening findings a formal assessment may be administered.

What are your billing and payment options?

Accepted Answer

We are a private-pay speech therapy practice and do not bill insurance directly. We accept private-pay clients and NCSEAA+ Scholarship funding for eligible families. Upon request, we can provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance company for potential out-of-network reimbursement. Payment is due at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made.

Early Intervention (play based) 
Language Screening and Articulation
Comprehensive Speech and Language
Feeding Aversion
Feeding/Swallowing
*Current Modified Barium Swallow Study is required by clinician prior to feeding and swallowing evaluation/therapy. Not applicable for feeding aversion. 
Augmentative alternative communication (*including trial and funding packet).
